Our preference would be for 1 person for a minimum 6 month contract to cover long term ill health absence. This person would not need a car or accommodation provided (ie would have their own), would not bring a pet to work with them, would preferably work 4 days a week, 7 hours a day, and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, no on-call, although we would accept 5 days a week full time, for the right applicant. They could also accept 5 days a week on a less than full time basis eg 5 hours a day especially if this were pm to evening.
We are a 2 vet-equivalent practice, with 2 qualified RVNs and 2 trainee nurses, one of whom is unfortunately unable to work for the moment, and 4 Receptionists. We are 100% Small Animal, a very caring and friendly team, with an emphasis on quality and care before speed. Nurses are encouraged to fulfil their potential (eg RVNs perform allowed surgical procedures, conduct clinics, replace bandages etc).
